Government is taking measures to evacuate stranded Ghanaian citizens abroad

Despite the fact that Ghana's outskirts keep on staying shut, the president in his tenth location to the country since the flare-up of the Covid-19 pandemic, said "exceptional agreement will be given for their departure back to Ghana."

"They will be exposed to the required isolate and wellbeing conventions [on their appearance in the country]", he said in Sunday night's location.

Be that as it may, the nation's air, land and ocean outskirts stay shut to general human traffic until further notification, the president noted. This is to forestall the importation of the coronavirus into the nation.

In a post on May 5, the candid lawmaker said "I bid to President Akufo-Addo to concede our kindred residents a limited window of return and be isolated."

The administration kept up it was counseling and assembling information on Ghanaians abroad to illuminate its choice.

Recognizing the departure notice, Mr. Ablakwa stated: "I am happy President Akufo-Addo has at last given the green light for the departure of abandoned Ghanaians as I have since quite a while ago supported." "Government should consistently be receptive to the situation of residents," he included.
